Membership is open to all Volunteer Centers that subscribe to the purposes and standards of the Colorado Volunteer Center Network.

A Volunteer Center is defined as an organization, which meets the following criteria:

• Connects any person or group with all types of opportunities to serve with eligible organizations
• Builds the capacity for effective local volunteering
• Promotes volunteerism
• Acts as a mobilizer of volunteers and resources to address community needs
• A non-profit or governmental organization with a physical office location, a budget, a governing or advisory body, and staff (paid or volunteer; full or part time)

Benefits of Colorado Volunteer Center Network Membership include:

• Relationships and collaboration with other Volunteer Centers
• Sharing of best practices
• Support and assistance in times of disaster
• Professional development opportunities
• Identification of funding opportunities
• Voting privileges during CVCN decision making

Expectations for Colorado Volunteer Center Network Members include:

• Active participation in CVCN meetings, initiatives, and efforts
• A commitment to collaboration and willingness to work with other CVCN members
• Dedication to creating a culture of service in Colorado

Affiliate Partnership is open to organizations or entities that do not meet CVCN membership criteria but whose mission aligns with the goals of CVCN and who have demonstrated interest in the purposes of CVCN.
