Mission:  The Colorado Volunteer Center Network (CVCN) strengthens, promotes and connects volunteer centers to meet critical needs of Colorado communities and creates opportunities to inspire and engage citizens through volunteerism.

History: CVCN was founded in 1999 by five volunteer centers as an opportunity for volunteer centers in Colorado to share best practices, support one another, and assist communities working to create a new volunteer center. Since CVCN’s inception, the network has collaborated to help support the start of new volunteer centers, strengthen current volunteer centers, and jointly seek funding. In 2005 CVCN expanded its work to aid Colorado communities with volunteer management in times of disaster.
